Hello, everyone:
I am currently learning Japanese, and, on a whim, I decided to see if Kanji support was possible on the Apple II. I did not expect to find anything. However, I was surprised to learn that at least two Japanese Word Processors were available for the Apple: Assist 16 and Apple Kanji Writer. Both were mentioned in an article from 1985, which i found at the following website: https://calico.org/memberBrowse.php?action=article&id=263

I have checked the Asimov archive, but I have not found these disk images. Does anyone know where I could find them? Alternatively, is there any other software that can display Kanji, either for the Apple //e or the GS?

Thank you, in advance, for your help.

I haven't played around with it myself, but if you download my System Addons 32 meg volume, go to the 'Localizers' folder and look into the 'Japanese' folder this should support Japanese for System 6.0.1.
