Ok, I beginning to think the whole thing was a scam.
I just did some very basic internet digging using Conrad's last name
and phone number.
I found a couple of telling posts on a message board (from msx.org),
one of which contains his direct-dial and email address.

Then, there is another post from him in December 2012 where he admits
" ... but I just don't have the practical hardware development
experience .... "

This appears to be his facebook page. He is 20'ish

I found his linkedin profile as well... no employers....except for
this 'computer museum' page (also on facebook) in vancouver. Notice
there is no address. He also says that he has been collecting for 15
years... which is a stretch if he is only 23.

So, the evidence suggests that everyone gave their money to a 20-
something with no hardware development experience, no employment
experience .... no business address ....
Lovely. The internet remembers everything :)
