To insert a disk: drag the disk title over the desired drive and drop it. =
You can drag prodos-ordered disk images on to the hard drive controller als=
o, it will just be handled as a 140kb hard drive. Consequentially it will =
be a lot faster to use that than using the Disk drives since it uses some h=
igh-speed short cuts, much akin to how DMA works with expensive controllers=
.

You can edit a disk entry by selecting it and clicking view, or you can dou=
ble-click on it, make changes in the details window and press the appropria=
te button to save.

All changes in the media manager are saved immediately. So if you close th=
e emulator you shouldn't lose any changes.

Also, Jace makes a COPY of your disk image and works off of its copy. You =
can extract its copy by looking in your home directory under .jace, or from=
the edit/view screen there is also a button that will let you save a new c=
opy of the jace copy into a file of your choosing.

Because Jace uses a copy, it can also refresh its copy from the original so=
urce -- there is a button for that too. Think of it this way: If you are u=
sing a downloaded character disk you can revert to a clean character disk b=
y refreshing the disk from its original source. If you're clever you can u=
se this to buffer changes or reverse accidental damage. Eventually there w=
ill be options to create disk versions, so you can rollback and so on. The=
internal data model and code support it, but there is no UI for it yet.

Though this sounds rather redundant for games you've already downloaded, it=
's actually more optimized for games that you've downloaded directly in Jac=
e. That's coming soon...

Oh and there are still bugs. Quite a few. None of them cause data loss, b=
ut they do detract from the user experience somewhat. That's why I haven't=
release an official build of it yet. It *IS* usable in its present state =
as long as you don't mind a few odd quirks in the UI.
