I believe this only shows the versions of the toolsets loaded from disk, though. I've always found http://www.apple2online.com/web_documents/apple_ii_tech_note_26.pdf useful, but it doesn't note any variations in the ROM03.

Thanks - I had read through TN26 but I see it indicates ROM 03 tools are based on System 5.0 so maybe the System 6.01 tools were going to get burned in ROM but never were? I'm just curious why the source code script build.rom was all set to create a ROM but apparently never was used? As I said in a previous post the code generated is much larger than would have ever fit on a 256k ROM. I am Commenting out the extra code to get an exact byte match but it could be added back later. It fixed some very bad bugs as well.
