20 MHz Z80 update

For all of you waiting for the z80 board:

the good news is Future Electronics shipped the CPUs. The bad news is 
they only had 10 in stock, so only the first ordered 10 kits will ship 
next week.

I have also ordered a few from a different source. Will wait and see if 
they are genuine 20 MHz parts.

Worst case scenario: there is a 4 weeks lead time. Here is what I got:

In reference to your above online order:

Line 1: part# Z84C0020PEG has 6pcs on backorder. Zilog informed us that 
they had old date code(1036) stock available, the lead time is about 7 
to 10 day, but these old stock will not be test and you need to sign a 
Zilog waiver form before we issue the order to them. If you want them to 
be tested, it will take 4 to 5 weeks and you need to sign another Zilog 
waiver from to do this.

The way I read it, no new 20 MHz parts are produced. When they are gone, 
they are gone.
