Yes there are other places to find memory boards for the IIgs, but it would be a hit and miss at with a lot of misses at best. 
A some of us Apple II-IIgs may have some. Can not send you a P.M. as that function seems to be turned off on your settings. I have some 1meg Apple IIgs cards. Now some cards may NOT fit inside the IIe's case. Would have see if Apple's memory card is one of them. Not much fun if you can not put the lid back on the IIe.
