I got your message. I tried out the file yesterday on a Mac OS X and a Mac
OS 9 system.

It is a DiskCopy image inside of MacBinary encoding.

Try using Apple DiskCopy on Mac OS 9, or Apple Disk Utility on Mac OS X to
mount the image once you have removed the MacBinary encoding.

I don't know anything about HFVExplorer.
