I'm familiar with Tools 219 and 220 for playing songs on the IIgs. Is there a way to use either of these, or another tool/library, to play a song and also fire one-time samples for things like sound effects?

I'm just hoping someone can point me in the right direction. Thanks.

(Sorry to crosspost this from csa2.programmer, but this group seems to have higher readership and lots of other programming questions. )

possibly of interest:

(My oversampler ripoff + one-shot game sound driver, ORCA though, and works on multi-megabyte long-playing sound samples, not MOD files... still might give you some ideas)

I've added a link to libsoundGS from my post on developing games for the IIGS here:

I'm aware the comments are filled with spam and I hope to properly get round to fixing that sometime this year.
