The more I think about it, I do have a 1084 monitor that I use with my Amiga.  It seems to work great on the Amiga, so I imagine that it would work just as well on my IIgs.  I can snag an Indivision ECS and use a VGA monitor with my Amiga if need be or try and find another working 1084 (anyone got one for sale?).

How hard is it to wire up a 1084 cable for the IIgs?  How is the picture quality?
