I'm not offended. I don't think anyone else is either. Just by saying something is UNIX (or UNIX-like) people expect it to be compliant with the standard.

can't use the word Apple in it can't use the word Unix ... can't use
the word Linux ... Davex is taken Apple calls their command line
Terminal Command shell is lame calling them external commands may get
confused with commands that are installed between basic.system and
its buffers.

Is the Wizard of External Shell Commands taken?

WESC - hmmm!

	Names can be tough.

Isn't The Wizard of Oz from that Disney show? Copyright
infringement?

Glad you asked... Actually the original books were published around the end of the 19'th century and are off copyright. They can be downloaded free from Project Gutenberg. Any copyright claims by Disney to the books are wrong. Besides, I'm not in the USA so our rules are a bit less draconian.

For the record, I started out by calling it Unix Style Command Line,
but it was too long to fit on the Title line, so I removed the Style
word figuring everyone would still know what I meant.

UNIX is a series of standards created (and sold) by AT&T (SYS-V) and USC Berkley (BSD).

Since you have not been following very close, then you have not seen
or read the power I have programmed into the commands, that can be
used from the applesoft prompt.

	Cool.

So, from here on it will be known as:

Command Line Shell for unlimited external commands to be used at the
applesoft prompt on the Apl2 (can't use the real word) created by
Rob

or

CLSFUECTBUATAPOTACBR - I was hoping that would say something
meaningful

A thought. Why not call it 2-CLI... Apple(2) (C)ommand (L)ine (I)nstructions. After 20 years or so I doubt Apple cares if you use "Apple2" as a description or attribution. It also sounds cool. ;-)

All kidding aside, I will not use the *NIX word any more

If your commands match the *NIX standards there are no grounds to complain. In fact, you may want to save yourself a lot of time and take a look at the bash shell (the manual is free on-line). It would give you some ideas for future commands. Since it is open source you could simply port it for the Apple2 directly as long as you give attribution. This way you can still use *NIX in the name with accuracy.
