I'm always open to new Apple II publications. I think this one though would need more of a theme or gimmick to distinguish it from Dr. Steve's book, or Riccardo's proposal. In 1984 or 85, there was a book titled "The DIgital Deli" that was like a smorgasboard of articles about home computing. Much of it was first person bits about the early days, but there were things like quizzes (can you identify these early small computers?) and the like. It was a very light book, each article was short, but I liked it. I had it out recently, it still holds up.How about "Top Ten" chapters? - Top 10 Apple II magazines - Top 10 Apple IIGS games - Top 10 contributors to the Apple II's success - Top 10 Apple II Web sitesOn one hand, it could be polarizing (as most "top" lists tend to be ? no wonder they get so many pageviews!); OTOH; it would establish the scope of the book quite handily.
The earlier post made me think of that, so I suspect the idea is already to be a less linear book, more about readnig a bit here and there.
