If you stick to plain .do/.dsk and .po files, it is very straightforwardindeed. Much like the original ADT, .do and .po are imaged block byblock. (Well, ADT used tracks/sectors; ADTPro uses blocks.)

Seems like you could ignore all the fancy stuff that AppleCommanderbrings in, like support for .shk/.sdk files. Anything that the clientsends will only be .do/.po in any case.
