I found that I have a full disk version of this (at least it's called Colossus Chess 4.0), but I'm not sure if it's the same program or not.  I've uploaded what I have to Asimov just now (so it's sitting in /incoming).

1985/86, written by Martin Bryant?  But the one I have is a Firebird Golddisk.
