Kevin: There is one for 35 as well. I found it by searching GAL
programmer instead of EPROM programmer. Since like I said they both
have some good reviews in regards to using them for classic computer
uses. If you're going to be burning huge stacks of modern EEPROMs you
might want to get something better but for our gear they are seemingly
more then sufficient. Since I'm also always on the lookout for an
awesome deal I think you can't go wrong with either.
Clay: Excellent! I'll place an order with Mouser instead of WDC, and I
definitely will check out their GALs as well! As for the programmer, I
have ordered quite a bit from Hong Kong/Mainland China and usually the
free shipping leaves me with about a 3 week lead time. Not bad as far
as I'm concerned!
