Shark Byte Engineering games disk uploaded to Asimov

Greetings,

I gathered a handful of games I wrote under the "Shark Byte Engineering" tag, and uploaded them to Asimov. Someday I might create a web page with more info and source code and such, but for now, I thought I'd just park them out there. I do still have the source code and graphics files for each.

"Sabotage II" was a result of goofing around with a particular graphics concept (which we used on the crack screen of Dallas Quest), and pondering what else to do with it. This is from August 1985.

"Acey Deucy" is a variation of backgammon, where rolling a 1 and 2 allows to you choose your doubles and keep rolling. It's a faster variation of regular backgammon. The end game is a bit different in that you need exact numbers to bear off. This is circa 1986. I wasn't ever really happy with the RNG, but so be it. It does still have a secret way to roll whatever number pair you like though. :)

"Puzzler" is a 15-tile game. I can't recall why I choose to write it, maybe to play around with "light bar" concepts or something. It's from 1987.

"One World" is a shoot'em up. This is from August 1986. (It later got retooled slightly and published by Keypunch software as 'Viper Patrol').

"Splat!" is what I just renamed "Parachutist", since "Splat!" is what I had originally intended to call it (September 1986). For fun, I dug out Jim Nitchals' shape editor and modified the graphics a bit in this version. So it's new! :)

'Viper Patrol' and 'Rod's Revenge' are already up on Asimov, as is 'Alf', so I think this disk image completes the games I finished. I have more stuff that didn't get finished. "Rod's Revenge" was the last thing I did before boxing it all up for good.
