I haven't seen much hoopla (yet) if you are inferring some form of persecution is going on.

Probably not much profit, but the new owner of the Softdisk property flexed his legal rights and forced Syndicomm to take the SD content down. Syndicomm had to renegotiate it's license to distribute Softdisk legitimately - should we be thanking Tony for that?

If you want Softdisk to be freely available, ask the property's owner. It's not really Syndicomm's decision.
