Re: On 'tros vs. pure cracks, my opinion

Sorry to bring that back but a recent discussion with Arnaud C., the webmaster of ctrl-pomme-reset.fr (ctrl.openapple.reset), obliges me to do so.

With Arnaud and Jean-Marc, we keep on purchasing hundreds of 5.25" disks in order to preserve Apple II programs and make screenshots of the boot screen where pirates' names appear.

I did not realize Arnaud put that online on his website, please discover the French cracks and underground products at:
- http://www.ctrl-pomme-reset.fr/galeries/french-autographs/ (more than 1000 pics)
- http://www.ctrl-pomme-reset.fr/galeries/productions-underground/ (more than 500 pics)

We've been able to track down more than 400 underground products (understand either unpublished, unreleased or specific products mainly in French) for the Apple II. That is probably one of the most complete archive of Apple II cracktros and underground apps.

And to be exhaustive, nearly 500 software were published for the Apple II, I mean French software.

Wouah, I like that :-)
