Hi,
If Ewen (or anyone else for that matter) is out there, I've been trying to
mount the TABBS Library Archive to take a look at the contents. I'm a
Windows/Linux guy, so .dmg files are not something I'm used to dealing with.
I've used a tool to convert the DMG to an ISO, but this didn't work as I'm
guessing the disk is HFS formatted or some such. I then tried to mount the DMG
directly under Linux, but it too failed to mount successfully. It had tried to
mount it as a HFS image, but no dice.
The error I got from Linux was:
"mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/sr0"
It's possible that its a bad download, but I'm reluctant to download it again
if I don't have to as it's 500+ MB, so can anyone help me out here?
One thing I did notice is that Ewen's site lists the file as being 581Mb, but
my file is 553Mb. Now I know what you're thinking, it must be a bad download -
BUT when I started downloading it again, the download reported the file size
as being exactly the same as what I already have (553Mb). So I aborted the
download.
Anyone shed any light on this? Anyone else taken a look at this file?
