Okay, I went through and tested several ways:

This TV + Same IIgs: Extremely blurry text mode; crystal clear
graphics/mixed modes

This TV + Different IIgs: Extremely blurry text mode; crystal clear
graphics/mixed modes

This TV + //e: Crystal clear text mode; normal almost-clear graphics/
mixed modes (same as with an Applecolor Composite monitor)

AppleColor Composite monitor + Same IIgs: Crystal clear text mode;
normal almost-clear graphics/mixed modes

Thoughts based on the above?
