What are some games / programs written with GameMaker? I don't remember this from back in the day. Any disks on Asimov that you can particulaly recommend? I'd love to try out your single-file 'optimixations' of these games, but offhand don't know of a single one.

I'm all for making as many games as possible into single load... It's very interesting to me also! And I wish this could have been done in 1984 when floppy disks cost over $1.00 each! As it is, I am now short on 5.25" floppies, and am working off 25-30-year old disks. Quite a few have gone bad, and all this single-file loading, exomizing, etc, is making my remaining stash go SO much further.
