I use one of these on one my IIgs and whilst it does work, it's far from perfect. Most games look ok, but as mentioned in prevous posts, the GS/OS finder has quite nasty banding effects from the IIgs video frequency.

The highway unit looks to do a far better job, but at a price as you noticed.

Hopefully one day soon we'll have a better solution for connecting the IIgs to a LCD monitor.
