  Pehraps.

  The weird thing is just the contrast bewteen the pessimism of the
subject (mum's death) and the way is it shown in the book (each word
as a wagon, you have to put together to build a valid sentence). Like
a word game you have in primary school.

   I'm not sure where David got this. Could be interesting to know.
