No. As I recall 8 permutations seemed a lot for me to try :) Maybe when I get more time. BTW how were the tables generated?

Just some old experiments I did years ago. When I searched recently, what has survived were just huge 17-bit lookup tables, from which I cut 9-bit lookup tables with a short program.

The tables themselves were created by doing full NTSC decoding iteratively on all vectors and taking the central pixel value as lookup. Marc Ressl has advanced algorithms for calculating all this in realtime, mine was simple and not optimized at all.
