Hi all,
A few years back I created a font of the Silentype character set (which I
may need to revisit as the o and O characters seem to have filled
themselves in when I looked at it earlier tonight in Mac OS X Lion), and
I've also toyed for quite some time with the idea of recreating the
Apple-modified Motter Tektura (different lowercase s compared to standard
Motter Tektura, no dot on lowercase i seem to be main [only?] changes).
To that end, I'm trying to find Apple's use of as many characters as
possible in Motter Tektura. I've identified 19 definite letterforms, and if
I include the j from the Apple ][ j-plus by unskewing it (but it's tail
seems quite long), that'll make 20. I can probably safely assume the b is
mirrored d as per original, as is q mirrored p, and both d and p seem to be
as per the original font.
So I'm left with trying to find any examples of Apple's use of Motter
Tektura for v w x or z (and a non-skewed j for good measure) in any product
badges, brochures, manuals, etc. Is anyone aware of any such uses, and, if
so, if there are any pictures available online (or as a result of this
request if said use is in your possession)?
Thanks
Sean (europlus in a2c.chat)
