Kim Howe authored the program and has recently released
it as freeware.
You can find it here: http://a2central.com/author/mmaginnis/

As soon as I open the application, it crashes my machine (freezes
it). It also crashes on Kegs emulator. Anyone have any luck
running it and if so, what's the secret. I have Marinetti running.

I am trying the same thing, except to get it to run, I had to delete
the 'Arachnid.prefs' and 'Bookmarks' files. Now, I get it to run, open
a new web window, type in an address, but, I get Failed error 2 or 10,
no web page. Even my own HTTP File Server pages don't open. They are
strictly text. I'm having better luck with Contiki, so, for now I will
stick with that until there is more info on Arachnid.PR3.

Wish David Schmidt would write a web browser for GS/OS. Hear me David?

I hear ya! However, I'm not too excited about web browsing on the GS. Plus, the IP stack is made with tools that are made of unobtanium, as far as I can tell. I personally find the build system for GS/OS very unapproachable.
