If you use HIFI you'll get 9600 bps, however 50% of testers had
problems with their HW--one tester with two identical rigs had only
one that supported 9600.  If you use 8KFI you'll get 8000 bps (still
6x faster than native).  Both support compression to speed things up.
The total time ranges from 52 seconds to 4 min, 12 sec.  Not too bad.
