I was able to get a telnet connection as you describes above using KEGS or maybe it was XGS. �It wasn't completely reliable but it did let me log into my AppleNet BBS for the first time in 20 years :). �I'd really like to run this "new" one on actual hardware.Let us know if you get it up and running! There used to be a retro Apple BBS, but afaik it's down.
