let me suggest...

If I remember correctly, in your MONITORS control panel you can set the
screen resolution for the projector and for the LCD display independently
of one another.  Once you have a setting that works for the main screen
make certain that you are using the SAME setting for the projector.  Also
make sure that the projector is a copy of your main display and not an
extension of your desktop.

Failing that, make the projector an extension of the desktop and drag the
DVD player window over to it.

Good luck...and I suggest that you might have more success in a Macintosh
group.
