I've been working on my Vulcan hard disks again. I copied the EPROM from the
40 meg drive, and converted two 20 meg drives to 40's with the EPROM copies
and spare 40 meg ide drives. I saved the EPROM contents as binary files
(email if you want a copy). I compared the files, hoping there would be just
a few differences that would allow me to figure out how to modify the files
for larger drives. Unfortunately, there are quite a few differences
sprinkled thru the two files.
Anyone have any pointers on how to hack ROM's?
