Hi Antoine,

Thanks a lot. I tried it out a bit.

The 1st good sign is that the high score list is empty. I remember my
old crack image had a list of insanely high scores that I assume the
pirates hacked into place.

I've played twice. The first time I died on level 6. The second time I
died earlier than that. Both sessions played fine.

What I noticed is that when it asks you if you want to play again, if
you say 'NO', it crashes to a prompt which says:

LANGUAGE NOT AVAILABLE
STOPPED AT 30
>

It's an old game so it's not impossible this is what really happens if
you say NO, but I thought being commercial software it might be a
little more graceful.

At the prompt, I typed 'LIST'. This made the drive do something, then
another prompt appeared. I just hope whatever it did wasn't some
mechanism to mess up a person's copy of the game.

I will do more testing.

PS I feel a bit silly asking a master cracker this question, but did
you check what was written in that issue of Hardcore Computist about
cracking this game, or did you do it from scratch, or both?
