Anyone here tried using the Dayna DaynaFile? I have one of these... It's a
5.25" low-density drive, SCSI-1 based, that when connected to an Apple
Macintosh it'll let you read MS-DOS diskettes. This drive was actually
better than the Apple 5.25 PC drive for two reasons. One, the Dayna unit
worked on any Macintosh while the Apple drive only worked on a Mac II or Mac
SE with the proprietary controller. Second, the Dayna unit mounted the
floppy onto the desktop, while the Apple drive required the File Transfer
utility that came shipped with Macintosh System 6.x.x.

Has anyone here tried the DaynaFile on an Apple II system with a SCSI
controller? On the Macintosh, it required a very specific driver to use the
thing, therefore I don't think the Mac treated the drive like any other SCSI
hard disk device.
