Most of the Infocom games are still under copyright by Activision (the
exceptions being HHGTTG and Shogun, whose copyrights are the
properties of the Adams and Clavell estates respectively). In the
recent past, Activision has sold these products in the Lost Treasures
of Infocom and Masterpieces of Infocom packages. They still sell the
latter, although it's increasingly difficult to find retail outlets.

With this in mind, third parties providing these games for download is
not particularly justifiable.

Activision has, however, made Zork I, II, and III available for download
at http://www.activision.com/games/zgi/atrium/gameroom/.
