Yes, I was the one who bugged you to send it to me a short while
ago (I finally got it by the way) :). It seems to work as far as
I have tested it, which is only to run it and see that it accepts
telnet connections. I haven't actually hooked anything up to it
yet. What kind of custom cable do you need to make to get it to
work with a C-64? It won't work with a plain null-modem cable and
an RS-232 interface? Does the IIgs also require a custom cable?
AB> As for Commodore 64 hard drives, why do you need one? :) 1541's are

Well, I don't NEED a hard drive for the C-64 but they extra space
(and speed) would be nice :). In all honesty, I'll probably
eventually hook up both a C-64 and a IIgs as BBSs if things
work out (i.e. if I can figure out how to get/make the necessary
cables and get everything working). I'll be moving in May and then
I'll have room to set up all this stuff.
AB> As you can appreciate, software like BBSLink is a constant

AB> The 64, recently connected, pointed out many shortcomings in the

It's really a neat program. If you have the time you should really
set up a little web page for people to download the latest version
(if there isn't already one). I bet lots of people would be
interested and it would be neat to see a bunch of old 8-bit/16-bit
BBSs pop up all over the net.
