Well the card says "disque dur" on it which means hard disk. Also the date 1981 is visible, which means it is certainly not an IDE or SCSI card. I'd assume it needs some sort of MFM hard disk with a proprietary interface. This of course means that without the drive that came with it it's not of much use.
