Yes. I make a lot of my own cables, but I've never seen that particular
connector for sale anywhere. It's a high-density 3 row connector, which
would also be difficult to solder to, from my experience working on VGA
connectors.  I think those cards with cable go for less than $20, so you
could always just buy another card if you're missing the cable.  Schools
bought a lot of those cards, so they are a good source of them.

I have a setup like that, it works fine. I was thinking about doing the VGA
mod, I'd think that would work too, since that IIe card could go in a lot of
models besides the Color Classic.
