--> Yuppers... I agree with you.  I'd like to see a simpler way of
    doing this, as well.  No, really - I'd like to see a _MUCH_
    simpler way of achieving this goal!  :->

    This is `doable', with the tools I have, but more, umm, INTENSE
    than I had been hoping for.  I'll hafta look further into the tools
    I currently have - got more time on the weekend to delve into this.

    Mind you, I don't have a SSC - I'm using a Serial Pro card and an
    external Supra 2400 on the A2-side and ADSL on the PC-side. I'd
    have to put the 56K modem back in, I think, in order to get the
    2 `talking' to each other.  Mayhaps I'll need to use my CrossWorks.
    I'll see what the weekend brings...
