It isn't "above" 64K, per se.  "Beside" would be a better term
(bank-switched).  "Beyond" is nice and neutral.  :-)

I recall a discussion a while ago in which I posted details on the
soft-switches which control bank switching in the IIe.  It probably
didn't cover all the details, such as the methods for managing auxiliary
memory, and the AUXMOVE and XFER routines.

I don't think I've posted much on the subject of multi-bank auxiliary
memory cards, as I've never owned one.  I have posted details on
standard slot RAM cards and on the IIgs.
