Re: II+ ROMs pin-compatible with 2716s?
The character generator chip in Rev 7 II+'s was 2716-compatible. Earlier
II's and II+'s used a purpose-built character generator ROM that had a
different pinout. The schematic in my manual had the old chip and my II+ had
the new chip. Confused me for a while. <g>
