You are correct that Print Shop won't work with newer printers.  There
was even a "contest" to see if anyone could update it to work with
other printers but it was unsuccessful.  However, you should still be
able to use your Print Shop graphics in other programs to create the
same things.

Harmonie, which is available from Shareware Solutions II, supports
many of the newer Epson printers.  You just need to make sure the
printer supports the PCL printer language.  The Harmonie drivers won't
take full advantage of the newer printers but you can get up to 720 x
360 dpi I believe.

The only other thing to watch for is that the printer does have a
serial interface as many modern printers are parallel or USB only.
