Re: GS ROM 0 problem (eBay)
Re: eBay
Sometimes you can find a good deal on eBay if you happen to stumble
across an auction where the seller doesn't realize the value and offers
"Buy it Now." I snagged an Apple //c Memory Expansion Board this way for
$15, and a Unidisk 3.5 for $10. (Yeah, I know, someone here probably
found three of each NIB at a thrift shop for $2, but like winning the
lottery such finds tend to allude me.) Or if you live in a rural, Apple
II-poor area it may be the only place to find a particular item. The few
sites that sell Apple II items usually want considerably more than
average eBay prices.
If someone wants to pay $700 for a IIc+ and monitor or $100 for a "Woz"
IIgs that's their problem. I think the worst one of late was that baige
IIe that went for $300 a few weeks ago just because it had some sales
flyers with it. I just wish I was the one selling.
