	I've always been able to get into the control panel by pressing the escape key
on startup.  I need help after that.

	The control panel has a sub menu:
 
	-=MISCELLANEOUS OPTIONS=-
		START UP GRAPHICS:  	ON
	START UP DIAGNOSTICS:	ON
						SOUND:	1ms
			JOYSTICK DELAY:	32us
				  NMI DELAY:	1ms
				 WAIT DELAY:	32US

	Although I'd love to see what you find, I think that I now can solve the
problem.  I feared that I would have to type in the right numbers to make the
sound work right at the higher speed, but now I find that the menu is preset
for each option, including sound (OFF, 0, 1, 5, 50ms).  I'll just play with it.

	Any idea what NMI and WAIT DELAY are for?

All of that stuff is packed up, and I don't really remember this very well,
but you press a key combination to get to the TWII control panel. It was
open-apple-escape, I think. Or maybe you had to press both apple keys plus
escape. Or maybe it was reset instead of escape. I'm pretty sure it was one
of those. If nobody rings in with a better answer, I'll try to dig up the
info for you.
