Actually there are 5 screws on the bottom. When taking them apart I
place a folded towel on the table and put the monitor face down. This
will not only protect the CRT but also keep the monitor steady. When you
remove the bottom screws and are ready pull the case apart, you may want
to have a stack of magazines ready to support the main board (when you
set the monitor upright.) When you remove the cover be aware of the
switch assembly, which is held in place with a screw.
