Michael, have you forgotten that you were one of the first people to help me on
the web? With the help of Tony Cianfaglione, Tom Turley and yourself I first
learned how to download (and I could still use some help converting disk images
to real disks--but that' another thread)!
The only problems that I've had with your program has been finding/creating
enough sounds and (drum roll, please) that it annoyed the Mac users of my
computer club. The monthly drawings were always proudly accompanied by duck
quacks, engine varooms and the sound of breaking glass. Then I found your
program and demoed it at our meeting. Nothing takes the wind out of the sails
of an ego like having an "inferior" perform the same task as well or better
than the champ did.
I'll see about including your program on the hard drive for the brave souls who
will admit in front of their fellow teachers and administrators that the ][
looks impressive and they'd like to see more.

<< Jay, you might consider going one step further in the direction of doing
the "impossible" with an Apple IIe--play some digitized sound!
