Well as I said, I was tinkerin with Visio.  What you see is what was

I tried that.  I am not using a very sophisticated localtalk//ethernet router, 
just a Mac with Localtalk Bridge loaded (actually 2 with LTBridge, look 
closely at the drawing and you will see why<--and they say it can't be done!) 
It did not work.
I would see the LW on the GS but every time I tried to print it would give a 
error.  
Well out of desperation I strung a bitta phone line from the last Farallon 
connector to the gack of the IIg and poked a phonenet connector in the proper 
socket and...It works!
On the GS control panel/ network printers/ laserwriter (and the Mac Chooser, 
and the Appletalk prnter selector on the PC)  I show TWO LWIIGs and must 
rememebr to select the 1st one for any ethernetted box (or its REAL slow 
printing), and the second one for any localtalking box.   It works..
oh and Greg, not today alas :(
