I suppose you hadn't noticed that the economic data showed that growth started
declining in Spring of 2000, the decline accelerating during the summer
(remember the rolling black/brown outs in CA? remember the climbing price of
gas - per the Clinton policy?) and fall. Everyone knew in the fall of 2000
that Bush or Gore, we would have a recession this year. High energy costs (now
down, thanks in part to Russia dumping oil on the market) and 9-11 have simply
made things worse.
Bush or Gore, how would that effect anyone's internet access?
