The Orca languages come with the Orca shell. This is a command line
interface that sits on top of GS/OS. Orca/C does come with an editor
but you can use whatever editor you wish to including GS/OS desktop
based ones like Prizm (another Orca product that I believe is included
with Orca/C). Prizm is similar to modern IDEs (Integrated Development
Environments) on other platforms in that you can edit, compile, run
and debug your programs from within Prizm.

I know a number of people who have bought it and are very happy with
it. I have yet to buy it myself but there is no question that I will
be buying it. It is a tremendous value. Not only do you get Orca/C
but all the other Orca development products so you can mix programming
in C, Pascal, assembly and such. It also comes with a number of other
products as well. Check out the the following web site and you'll
find out what all is on the CD:

Not a problem. In my mind, it is better to ask too many questions
than to ask none at all. :)
