Thanks for checking.  I don't have a Trackstar myself so I have to rely on
bits and pieces of information I pick up here and there.  Until I saw your
post I thought that all Trackstars could save ".app" images to the hard
drive.

I just got my two Fishwings .dsk images (converted to .app images) emailed
to me.  This will at least give me a known starting point to try to figure
out how the Trackstar converts them.
