I'm not disatisfied with the way things are.  I generally don't 
have a problem with most non-A2 posts.  If someone can answer 
and redirect the person to the appropriate board, then that's a 
good response.  Everybody has to start somewhere.  I think the 
people attracted to the early Apples are a cut above the general 
computer user.  Being a user friendly computer might be the clue 
to why that's so.  
 
As change has occurred there is a transistion between platforms and 
across platforms.  Software upgrades and all the glitches that come
from change don't respect the boundaries of a groups name.  
 
I posted to the IBM group for help with finding a longer cable 
for the pc floppys. Nary a reply from anyone.  There was a lot of 
activity on that board.  I read posts to see who was there and 
what was being said.  Seemed to be a bunch of knowledgeable folks.  
Not willing to mix with someone a bit different than they I guess.   Appreciated getting a reply from this board.  Only one but that was 
all I needed.
