Util Disk Images

One of the big problems for new Apple II enthusiasts is getting software off
the net for their new toys. The easiest method for Mac owners is using
DiskCopy to create 800K ProDos disks from images downloaded off the net.
With the proper Mac, this quickly creates a usable disk.

I'd like to create one or more DiskCopy disk images that would be bootable
by 8 bit Apples and have the utilities for unforking files, changing
filetypes, and extracting the various archives. On the same disk or another
disk, I'd like to have GSOS utilities. All these utils would be ready to
run, with no need to extract them.

I'd like suggestions for essential and desirable utilities to include in
these disk images. Then these images can be posted in the archives with
instructions for creating usable ProDos floppies, emailed to newbies, etc.

Since the IIe board and IIgs's commonly have 800K disk access, those groups
would be covered by this method.
