I admit that I didn't scrutinize the list.  I was looking for some dates on something else, and just happened to catch the Apple // and Apple /// reference early on.

I used to work for a gaming company (Apogee), and as there was never any official death knell on these (while I was there...that has since changed), we'd get support calls every so often on some of the founder's early text games.  It sure made life interesting, and I could just imagine that kind of oversight at Microsoft.  "It's not on your list of discontinued products...give me support!" <heh>
